Qualifications:
Candidates should have a native or near-native proficiency in the
appropriate language. They should have a demonstrated commitment to and
satisfactory experience in the teaching of languages at the University
level. MA minimum in a field relevant to course content OR BA in a field
relevant to course content and successful teaching experience at the
University level. Candidates should have prior experience in Distance
Education using Moodle and the Blackboard/Collaborate virtual classroom,
and/or be willing to participate in additional training in the use of
Moodle and Collaborate.

Duties: Preparation, teaching, student consultation, grading and marking,
distribution of student evaluation questionnaires, involvement in student
appeals, and other duties appropriate to the
appointment. —————————————————
Additional Duties:
Instructors are required to invigilate proctored tests and exams for
students writing on campus (mandatory for students within 100 kms of
campus).

Remuneration: Remuneration is in accordance with the Collective Agreement
between Mount Saint Vincent University and CUPE 3912
