Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
A part-time academic is required to teach ENGL 2005.03: World Literature, in the Winter 2026 Term, Tues/Thurs 1135-1255. This course is scheduled to be taught in-person. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class including lectures, test preparation and evaluation, and grading. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in English or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. Previous experience teaching at the university level in world literature is preferred.

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
To teach ENGL 1005.03: Literature: A Global Perspective, in the Fall term of the 2025-2026 academic year (September-December 2025), currently scheduled for Online-Asynchronous delivery with online tutorial groups. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, tutorials, supervision of teaching assistants, test preparation and evaluation, and grading the final exam. The part-time academic should also be available for two hours per week for consultation with students. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in English or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program and have previous experience teaching writing and composition at the university level. Experience teaching online is preferred.
Salary Range/Pay Rate As per CUPE Collective Agreement

A part-time academic is required to teach ENGL 2217/THEA 2216: Shakespeare at the Globe, in the Fall 2025 Term (September-December 2025), Tues/Thurs 1005-1125.
