Qualifications:
A PhD in the relevant field is required.  Successful applicants must have
a demonstrated commitment to, and satisfactory experience in, the teaching
of religious studies courses at the university level, including experience
teaching via distance modes using Collaborate and/or Moodle.

Candidates must be willing to participate in additional training in the
optimum range of teaching operations in the Moodle LMS and in the
Collaborate virtual classroom, if necessary, to reach the required level
of competency before the course begins. Candidates must also be sensitive
to the needs of distant, mature and part-time learners.

Instructors are required to invigilate proctored tests and exams for
students writing on campus (mandatory for students within 100 kms of
campus).

Duties: Preparation, teaching, student consultation, grading and marking,
distribution of student evaluation questionnaires, involvement in student
appeals, and other duties appropriate to the
