Qualifications:
A PhD in Economics or in a relevant field is required.  The appointee must 
demonstrate commitment to, and satisfactory experience in the teaching of 
economics at the university level in the area of international finance.
Course design and evaluation methods will be in accordance with the policy of the Department of Economics.

Duties: Preparation, teaching, student consultation, grading and marking,
distribution of student evaluation questionnaires, involvement in student
appeals, and other duties appropriate to the

Additional Duties:
Candidates must also have experience using the Blackboard/Collaborate
virtual classroom.  Candidates must be willing to participate in
additional training in the optimum range of teaching operations in the
Moodle LMS and in the Collaborate virtual classroom, if necessary, to
reach the required level of competency before the course begins.
Candidates must also be sensitive to the needs of distant, mature and
part-time learners.
