![]() Part-Time Teaching Position The Division of Engineering at Saint Mary’s University is offering a part-time teaching position for one course in Spring 2025 and is looking for candidates with a minimum of a Master’s degree, with a PhD or industrial experience preferred. EGNE 1203 – Engineering Mechanics: Statics Class period: May 05 – June 21, 2025 — Exams period: June 19 – 21, 2025 (In Person on Campus) Lecture: Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 12:29 p.m. (On-Campus) Lab: Tuesday and Thursday 1:30 p.m. – 4:29 p.m. (On-Campus) Course description Students will cover the fundamental concepts and principles of mechanics, statics of particles, equivalent force systems, equilibrium of rigid bodies, analysis of structures, friction, distributed forces, centroids, centre of gravity, and moments of inertia. Application Details Qualified candidates are asked to provide a cover letter, a current C.V., a teaching dossier (including evidence of teaching effectiveness and graduate school transcripts along with relevant evaluations, if available), and the names and addresses of three references.
