Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
A part-time academic is required to teach Spanish 1021.03: Beginning Spanish I (Online Synchronous) Fall Term 2025 (September 1, 2025 – December 30, 2015)
Currently Scheduled: T/R 1135 – 1255 AND M/W 1435 – 1555

The Part-Time Academic is responsible for planning and leading individual classes, administering tests, grading assignments, keeping records and the calculation of final grades. The Part-Time Academic is required to be available to students outside of class time.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish and possess a graduate degree in a relevant area. Good teaching skills, including grammar training, commitment to student learning, and strong sense of personal responsibility.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement

All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
